At the end of our lease in March, Kiosk Gallery will be leaving our current space. For the final two shows in the Columbus Park location, we will feature work by our volunteer artist staff.
On 3rd Friday in January, Kiosk presents “Where We Lived” – an exhibition of photographic prints and photobook release by Erin Dodson. From the artist’s statement:
“The photographs in this series are not replicas of lost images – they are collected from walking and driving the same loops over and over for decades, photographing familiar landscapes, and connecting them loosely to the web of my own memories. In this way they are part of a personal narrative, but they are also easily adaptable to the viewer’s memories, if they have spent much time in any American suburb.”
An artist’s reception and book release will be held Friday, January 18th from 6 to 9 pm. The show runs through February 8th during open hours: Fridays 12-6 pm, Saturdays 12-4 pm, and by appointment.
