June 17th – July 7th, 2016: Charles Jones – “WILDERNESS / The Western Edge of a Dream”

On 3rd Friday in June, Kiosk Gallery presents “WILDERNESS / The Western Edge of a Dream” – a solo exhibition of sculpture and drawings by Charles Jones.

The works in this exhibition serve as plans, maquettes, and in-progress designs for potential large-scale sculptures and installations.

Jones is intrigued by the vague, malleable nature of history… its silhouette-like quality making it a rich and challenging source from which to mine subjects.

An artist’s reception will be held Friday, June 17th, 6-9 pm.  The show runs through July 7th, open Fridays 12-6 pm, Saturdays 12-4 pm, and by appointment. Kiosk will be closed Saturday, July 2nd for Independence Day weekend.
